Cheerleading
Currently the Elkins High School Varsity Cheerleading Squad consists of fourteen members in grades tenth, eleventh, and twelfth grades. The JV Cheerleading Squad has nine members in grades ninth and tenth.
Girls tryout the first two weeks in August for the upcoming year. Any students in grades 9-12 can tryout; no required gymnastic/tumbling skills are required for cheerleaders but tumbling/stunting does help a candidate make the varsity squad.
